☕ Quick Take:
A thrilling, romantic, and dark conclusion to the Belladonna trilogy that will leave readers spellbound.
📖 Plot Overview:
Blythe Hawthorne has never followed the rules, not society's, not her father’s, and certainly not those of the man she’s bound herself to. Determined to make his life anything but easy, Blythe soon discovers a hidden side to herself, one tied to his mysterious past. As their relationship evolves from enemies to something far more passionate, Blythe must decide if she’s willing to let that spark ignite, all while uncovering the truth about her own identity. This dramatic finale brings new revelations and romantic twists that will set hearts ablaze.
💭 My Thoughts:
Wisteria is a fantastic conclusion to Adalyn Grace’s Belladonna trilogy! Though the focus shifted primarily to Blythe, I found her story to be just as enthralling as Signa’s in the earlier books. Blythe’s fierce independence and fiery personality made her the perfect protagonist for this final chapter.
The hate-to-love dynamic between Blythe and Fate was my favorite part of the story. Their chemistry was electric, and the tension between them kept me hooked throughout. Grace expertly navigates their emotional journey, transforming their combative relationship into something beautifully romantic.
That said, there were a few loose ends that left me longing for more. Some plot points felt unresolved, and part of me wishes certain elements had been either more fully explored or left out altogether. But these small frustrations didn’t overshadow my overall enjoyment.
The deeper dive into the rich history between Fate, Death, and other mysterious forces in the universe was utterly fascinating. I loved the hints that there is more to this world than we’ve seen, even if some questions remain unanswered.
🌙 Standout Moments:
The blossoming relationship between Blythe and Fate stole the show! Their interactions were filled with tension, witty banter, and undeniable chemistry. Watching their dynamic evolve was one of the highlights of the series for me.
🌱 Who Should Read This?
Fans of gothic fantasy, forbidden romance, and complex character arcs will devour Wisteria. If you loved the earlier books in the Belladonna trilogy, this is a must-read!
📚 Final Thoughts:
Though not without a few loose threads, Wisteria delivers a thrilling, romantic, and satisfying conclusion to the Belladonna trilogy. Adalyn Grace’s storytelling is as captivating as ever, and this series will always have a special place on my shelf. If you're looking for a series filled with magic, gothic vibes, and heart-pounding romance, the Belladonna trilogy is one you won’t want to miss!
