This was such a refreshing read! Sci-fi romance doesn’t get nearly enough love, and Calamity proves just how fantastic the genre can be. It seamlessly weaves a fast-paced, high-energy plot with a swoon-worthy romance, creating a story that’s both thrilling and heartfelt.

Arcadio Escajeda is utterly divine. I fell for him instantly, and his dynamic with Temperance was electric. Every interaction between them crackled with tension, banter, and undeniable chemistry. Temperance herself is an absolute delight—a chaotic, snarky, hot mess who had me laughing out loud. Her personality shines through every page, making her one of the most memorable heroines I’ve read in a while.

Beyond the romance, the story is packed with action and danger. From deadly missions and secret cultists to volcanic eruptions and intense space battles, the stakes remain high throughout. The balance between heart-pounding adventure and slow-burning romance was executed flawlessly.
