Oh my God, this book was amazing! The rich Viking influence creates a beautifully detailed world, complete with intense battle scenes that feel raw and fitting for this warrior society. The magic system was intriguing—I can’t wait to see it explored even further in future books. The characters truly stole my heart: Silla's depth and palpable pain left me in tears, and her growth was heartbreaking yet empowering. I adored the Bloodaxe Crew’s found family dynamic, especially her bonds with Hekla and Ilías.

The slow-burn, enemies-to-lovers romance with Jonas was perfect; he’s a fascinating character, and watching his complexities unfold was a joy. I’m equally intrigued by the enigmatic Axe Eyes and can’t wait to learn more about him. Skeada was an incredible villain—ruthless, relentless, and fascinating at every turn.

In short, The Road of Bones left me utterly obsessed. I’m counting down the days until the next book!
