This story was an engaging mix of whodunit and romance. The murder mystery was cleverly crafted, keeping me hooked as Kate hunted for the real killer. The parallels between the events of the wedding and her own fictional mystery added a fun, meta layer to the plot.
The love triangle and second-chance romance added depth to the story. Kate and Jake’s complicated history gave their interactions a vulnerability that felt authentic. The slow-burn tension between them was well-developed, and their dynamic stood out as one of the book’s highlights.
However, the story did feel a bit uneven at times. The beginning felt rushed, as though the reader was dropped into the middle of the action without enough setup. Certain moments moved too quickly, ending abruptly before transitioning into the next scene, which made parts of the story feel jumbled.
Despite these pacing issues, the vivid characters and clever twists kept me invested. I enjoyed the way the book explored the complexities of old grudges, romantic regrets, and the chaos of a wedding under pressure.
Overall, She Doesn’t Have a Clue is an enjoyable read for fans of romantic mysteries. While it wasn’t outstanding, it had enough intrigue, suspense, and heartfelt moments to make it a solid and entertaining addition to the genre.

Pairs well with a dark cherry black tea.
