✨ Quick Take:

A beautifully written sequel full of love, betrayal, and just the right amount of spice to keep romantasy fans hooked!

📖 Synopsis:

After being betrayed and heartbroken, Imogen seeks refuge in the Seelie Palace, hoping for a safe haven away from Tarian. But the palace’s protective walls may come with their own dangers, as Imogen’s freedom becomes more restricted than she ever imagined. She begins to question whether she’s truly escaped the frying pan—or if she’s simply stepped into the fire.

Meanwhile, Tarian, devastated by the loss of Imogen, watches her from afar. Desperate to reclaim her, he’s determined to find a way past his limitations and the borders that separate them. As tensions rise in the Fae Realm, Tarian seizes an opportunity to set things right and rekindle their bond.

But with hidden agendas and looming political conflicts threatening to destroy everything, will Imogen and Tarian overcome their differences, or will the prophecy’s curse tear them apart for good?

💭 My Thoughts:

Queen of Ever was absolutely worth the wait! If you loved Prince of Never, this sequel is every bit as gripping and emotionally charged as the first book in the Curse of Fate and Fae series. Lorelei Johnson and Hailey Jade have once again delivered a romantasy masterpiece that pulls you in from the first page and doesn’t let go.

The emotional depth of Imogen’s character really stood out to me in this book. Her heartbreak and betrayal felt so raw and real. You can’t help but feel her pain as she processes the events from the first book, all while navigating the new dangers lurking within the Seelie Palace. Tarian, on the other hand, is just as swoony and broody as ever. His determination to win Imogen back kept me rooting for their love, even through all the turmoil.

I also have to give a shoutout to Ethan! He was much more likeable in this installment, and his development was a pleasant surprise. The story’s pacing was fantastic, and the twists kept me on my toes, leading to an exciting and satisfying read. And of course, the spice level in this book is turned up a notch, keeping the romance both intense and steamy.

🌟 Final Thoughts:

Queen of Ever has everything I love in a romantasy—great characters, heart-pounding drama, a touch of magic, and all the emotional highs and lows that make for an unforgettable reading experience. I can’t wait to dive into the next book, Knave of Ruin. If you’re a fan of fantasy and romance, you won’t want to miss this one!
