This book was as much fun as A Rivalry of Hearts! Daphne and Monty’s chemistry absolutely stole the show. At first, Monty’s cold and distant demeanor made me hesitant about him, but as his layers were revealed, I couldn’t help but fall for him. His vulnerability and complexity added so much depth to his character.

Daphne, on the other hand, was an utter joy. Her mix of determination and insecurities made her incredibly relatable, and I found myself rooting for her every step of the way. Araminta was a standout secondary character—her unapologetic disregard for societal norms and blunt humor had me laughing out loud.
